Jaguar 420G Restoration part one.
First off I bought another "donor" car to help cut the cost of the total rebuild. The original red car had sat for 12 years, so all the rubber components were too hard to use.I found another 1970 420G that was a little rusty but had a reconditioned front and rear suspension, new front brake discs, recon brakes all round, recon brake master cylinder plus recon starter and alternator.
I stripped the car completely, kept all the removable mechanical and body parts and took the remainder to the tip. I also keep the floor and boot for the Daimler.

All but gone finished with the Oxy Acetelene torch.
Stripping this car to the floor also helped me understand how the 420G was built, and identify what part goes where, AND HOW it fits.
