XJ6 Jaguar (Interior)
The original seats had long passed their use by date and were replaced
with seats from a 1988 Jaguar XJ40 Sovereign. Much more comfortable

The cream leather seats in the front originally had four electric motors
to change the rake, forward and rear, and height adjustment front and rear.
Due to the difference in the floor pans of the XJ6 to the XJ40, I was only
able to keep the back support rake and (forward to rear motors with some
cutting and re-welding of brackets.) Left hand side has been installed
with the XJ40 seats bolted to the SII sliding frame. (much easier than
welding the motor brackets in, pull the original lever to move forward
and rear) I will change it later.
