Established in 1996 as Rod & Resto Towing ( short for Hotrod & Restoration Towing ) the
business was developed to provide enclosed towing for specialist vehicles Australia wide making it the first registered
enclosed tow truck in Victoria.
As the business evolved the primary focus shifted to Film & Still's production for both the local and overseas markets.
In 2000 the business name was changes to Russell's Enclosed Car Transportation Service's to reflect the full scope of the
additional services provided.
In conjuction with the Brochure and TVC work, specialised vehicle transportation still occurs on a regular basis and includes:
| » | Show & Concept vehicles for the Motorshows Australia wide for Ford, Holden, Toyota & Nissan. |
| » | Motorsport display vehicles for F1 ( BMW, Jaguar,& Arrows Teams ) and Indy cars (Honda ) and V8 Supercars ( Ford & Holden Teams ). |
| » | Museum Vehicles for the National Museum, Canberra and the National Motor Museum, Birdwood. |
| » | Numerous specialty vehicles and rare classics. |
| » | Transportation for the Ferrari in the remake of " On The Beach " mini-series. |

The original truck was designed and built by Russell to be able to load and transport everything from
F-40 Ferrari's to larger American vehicles like Cadillac and Chev suburbans.
Race cars, non-driving display vehicles and full
size clay models are also transported as the truck is equipped with a winch and airbag suspension to assist in the loading
of low ground clearance vehicles.
Both trucks are now equipped with drive through trailer systems, this enables us to leave the trailers connected to each truck whilst loading and unloading, thus reducing time and
also taking up less space in busy city locations.
