Run 6BP9 ‘superfreighter’ from docks, leaving at daybreak (the sun ‘pops out’ at Yard Box) to Muswellbrook, on its way to Ulan-Dubbo-Parkes----Perth !!! Nice 80s spluttering away, a colouful load and 100 kph running makes it a pleasure to run.
6BP9 used to run on Saturday mornings, being one of the few ‘superfreighter’ trains on the Ulan line. So it gave me an excuse to run something other than a ‘slow’ coal/wheat/steel train !! |
