Throne of David

CORONATION STONE -
This block of sandstone which is under the Coronation Chair at Coronations has been given such an honoured use and glorious purpose in the crowning of Kings and Queens throughout history. Jerusalem, Ireland, Scotland and Britain.

The stone upon which Jacob laid his head when he had the famous dream of a ladder reaching to Heaven (Genesis 28:18). It's beginnings date back to 1760BC. No other stone or symbol has remained so long in the possession of the descendants of the original owners.

Today, Britain has the honour and blessing of maintaining the continuity of David’s Throne. The Stone of Destiny has fulfilled its Divine purpose and the prophecy of Israel.

THE DAVIDIC THRONE
God himself chose "The House of David" only one family of the Tribe of Judah to be the Royal Family that would always hold the sceptre over a portion of the "House of Israel". The Royal line was predestined by God through the Tribe of Judah. The sceptre as a symbol of Royal power represents the right of the Davidic Throne to establish a nation on the Laws of God. Windsor Castle has a genealogical table going back to King David through the British, Scottish and Irish lines. It is established today under Queen Elizabeth II held in trust until the Lord returns. A fascinating story unfolded for over 3,000 years that the descendants would also be enlightened to this truth.

HISTORY OF THE THRONE
David's Throne was established in Jerusalem 1042BC when he reigned over the twelve tribes of Israel. God had promised to preserve the Throne of David over Israel unto all generations. Following the history of the Kings of the "House of David" who ruled over Judah the end came with the wicked King Zedekiah. The Throne was transferred to Ireland 583BC when Zedekiah's daughter married into the Royal line of Ireland to Eochaidh who was a descendant of Judah through the line of Zarah. Then transferred to Scotland in 503AD with Feargus the Great. Transferred again to England in 1603 when King James VI of Scotland became King James 1 of England and also of Scotland. God has fulfilled his word as the Throne has never lacked an heir, male or female to occupy the Royal Office signifying His authority over the kingdoms of this earth. (Jeremiah 33:17)

BRITISH COMMONWEALTH
Australia has been given shelter under the British Throne (Throne of David). The opportunity to enjoy freedom, security and prosperity. We have been given a common wealth to share with other nations held together by the allegiance to a common crown. It has protected us in the past from evils we could not imagine. It is a privilege to be under the Throne of David. Those nations in the past that have pulled away from the Crown have suffered the consequences with chaos and lawlessness abounding within their nations.

THE RIGHTFUL HEIR
Ezekiel 21:25-27 prophesied the Throne would overturn three times "until he comes whose right it is and I will give it him". And so it has, Jerusalem to Ireland, Ireland to Scotland, Scotland to England. The rightful Sovereign, our Lord Jesus Christ will eventually be crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And will lead all men and nations, tribes, languages and peoples into his ultimate world-wide dominion of peace and justice from his Headquarters in the New Jerusalem.

THE THRONE CHALLENGED
To reject the Sovereignty of the Crown, in the Monarchy is to reject the Lord himself. Man of sin will always resent and oppose God's authority and join the enemy of God. The Throne is the focus and symbol of this world's hope and it's glorious future. How foolish for man to think he is better or above God.
