A murder mystery set in a rural English hospital during WW2. A policeman injured by a bomb is murdered on the operating table, leaving the surgeon, the anesthetist and the attending nurses as major suspects. An eccentric police inspector investigates.

Comprising three loosely connected stories linked by place; Berlin, and time; a day and evening during a visit by the Pope. This film focuses on the lives of people living on the fringes of German society. The director worked with charity organisations to capture the feel of life on the streets.

July 17 Am I Beautiful

Germany, 1998. 116 minutes. Director: Dorris Dorrie
This film is based on a series of short stories and centres around the lives of more than a dozen seemingly unconnected characters. The stories alternate between Munich and Seville where the various characters meet, clash, and drift apart again with their relationships gradually becoming more apparent.
