September 11: 2001: A Space Odyssey USA, 1968, 148 min. Director: Stanley Kubrick. Astronaut David Bowman, with four companions, sets off for Jupiter on a spaceship controlled by HAL 9000, a revolutionary computer that is every bit mankind's equal, and perhaps his superior.

October 9: Red Lights France, 2004, 105 min. Director: Cédric Kahn. Antoine and Helene drive to South France to collect their children from a holiday camp. The traffic is dense and he becomes increasingly drunk the more often they stop.

| May 8: Spirited Away Japan, 2001, 125 min. Director: Hayao Miyazaki. A young girl Chihiro moves with her family to a new town. Her parents eat at a restaurant and are turned into pigs. Chihiro must find a way to reverse the spell.

November 6: Run Lola Run Germany, 1998, 81 min. Lola gets a call from her frightened boyfriend who has lost a large amount of gang money. His only chance of staying alive is if Lola can get replacement cash to him in twenty minutes.

| June 5: Mystery Train USA, 1989, 113 min. Director: Jim Jarmusch. A Japanese couple obsessed with 1950s America goes to Memphis. Chance encounters link three different stories in a seedy hotel.

All movies will use the Auditorium's new DVD system with a large screen, high quality image and excellent sound. The Auditorium has cinema-style seating and is air-conditioned. Coffee, tea and biscuits are available before each screening. A short film will be screened prior to most movies. |
