Because Of You
Meet Tiny and Nola. Two very different girls with two very different stories who are just trying to find a place to belong. A powerful and compelling novel about friendship, love and acceptance.

Both girls share their love of words through the Hope Lane writing group. Can they share their secrets, too?

Because of You by Pip Harry is a story about Tiny and Nola, two girls who have completely different lives. One is homeless the other has everything she could ever want. Through a writing group in a homeless shelter they slowly start to understand each other and create a bond like no other.
This is a young adult novel about teen homelessness, mental health and relationships. It is perfect for those who are looking for something realistic and diverse, as it covers many issues and minorities that most mediums don't cover, at least in such a positive light. The book is easy to read as it gives the reader an emotional experience; teens and young adults will be able to relate to many of the themes in the book. The book is well written and should appeal to those who enjoyed such books as The Shadow Girl by John Larkin, Simon vs the Homosapien Agenda by Becky Abertail and Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley.
