Clown Fish is a story about a boy called Dak that loves the aquarium. He is trying to deal with his father’s death due to a heart attack. The story is about losses and heart-warming adventures; it is also a funny story because it has a lot of funny dad jokes throughout the book.

Dak goes to his favourite place on earth the aquarium which is his dad’s favourite place as well. But what’s this “Is that Dad? No, it can’t be, could it?” He is talking to me, could he be alive…as a clownfish? Or is he a part of Dak’s imagination?

I would give this story a 3.5 star rating because it has a great plot line and it is a story I think everyone will like.

Parker, Year 5
