Ghost Bird is a dark and mysterious book written by Lisa Fuller. This book contains pages full of mystery, which creates tension and suspense, keeping the reader interested. The main characters, Laney and Stacey, are identical twins, but entirely different, and when Laney disappears, Stacey is the only one that knows she is alive. Stacey feels a connection with Laney and starts to dream of her, and although it’s hard to understand what is going on, she knows that Laney needs her help.

The main characters, Laney and Stacey, are introduced as “mirror images of each other” and are portrayed as complete opposites at the same time “like the sun and the moon”. This made me interested to find out more about them. The author’s writing style is unique and intriguing, giving the book a mysterious effect and keeping the storyline interesting.

In conclusion, I think this book is perfect for 11 – 15 year-olds and I would recommend reading Ghost Bird, especially if you are interested in dark and mysterious books.
