How is the Spinifex Car Wash Reclaim System used?

A typical car wash process is illustrated below. Water reuse quality can be assured by using five key unique features of the Spinifex reclaim system.

1 The Spinifex Oil Separator

  • The Spinifex separators strong vortex generates a force of over 1000g. 

  • More efficient separation of oil wax and 'light' material than simple gravity in pits or tanks.

2 The De-sanding Separator

  • This separator uses the same vortex principle as the de-oiling separator.

  • It is used to separate finely dispersed solids and 'heavy" particles from the water.  

  • It does not require back-flushing and has no moving parts.

3 Spinifex Floatation

  • Helps remove neutrally buoyant debris
  • Acts as a water-polishing filter 

4 Water Aeration

  • Aerating the water prevents anaerobic conditions from developing.

  • Keeps water fresh - no smells.

5 Small Pits

  • The Spinifex concept is to minimize anaerobic conditions.

  • This eliminates "grey water" or septic water problems.
