SPIT ROAST MOTOR UNITS SHORT. 240 volt.
The Short Motor Units are the bare bones motor / gearbox unit only.
These motor units are a suitable replacement for a wide range of spit roasts that have been produced in the past by a majority of different manufacturers, as the mounting dimensions of the new motor are still the same. You will need to save all the associated parts from the old motor assembly and install these to the new replacement motor unit.
Specs : Output 3rpm with a 1/2" dia. output shaft.

Installed in case with wired Double Pole Switch, Plug, Extension shaft, support bearing and coupling to suit 3/4" (19mm) bar. Gear Box Output 3 rpm.

SPIT ROAST MOTOR UNITS BATTERY POWERED.
The battery powered motor has a 5/16", (8mm) internal square drive
that the square on the shaft fits into & it's output is 3 rpm.
I recommend at least a 1/2" dia. shaft for usage up to 8kg.
Motor Units -complete .... $35.00 ( batteries not included)
These Motor Units are powered by 2 x D cell batteries and are the perfect solution for camping, the outback, down at the park or just for an economical alternative to the more powerful 240 volt versions above. They are capable of turning an 8kg load providing it is balanced reasonably well, which will feed about 30 people. The batteries last for at least 20 hrs running time, so you are looking at at least 4 to 5 spit roasts per set of batteries.
