            In 2002 I bought 3 1/2 acres of land in Lovely Banks, a area classified as "Rural Residential" on the northern outskirt of Geelong in Victoria. This is where the new lofts & house are to be built. I selected the American Barn style of steel colourbond loft, I purchased the loft in kit form to save on the $6,000 erection costs. The measurement s are 12m (3 bays) wide by 20m (5 bays) deep, Each bay measures 4m X 4m. Not all the Barn was to be for pigeons the front 3 x 2 bays deep was assigned as garage & workshop. Leaving the back 12m (3 bays) X 12m (3 bays) for the pigeons.
