 The Healthearth Network is committed to ensuring the sustainability of Australia for future generations. Through research, teaching and publications the members of the network provide a transdisciplinary and complexity approach to human and ecosystem health.

We advocate a way of living that takes into account the resource limits of the planet and strives to minimise adverse human impacts on ecosystems and other life forms.

The focus of new research interests in 2009 will be on examples of sustainable communities and ecosystems in Australia. We also conduct research on the negative impacts of unsustainable development on ecosystem and human health, and support upstream intervention strategies to restore system health or genuine sustainability.
