(Glenn Albrecht interviewed about Labor and the Coalition’s reliance on geosequestration – the capturing and deep underground storage of carbon dioxide from power stations – to shut down serious debate about coal. “There’s this idea we’ll all be saved by geosequestration, and therefore coal mining can continue as is, but the technology is at best untested” he said (p.A5).
