Recent information
received from another researcher suggests that the Stone line
goes back to circa 1532 Yarcombe Devon. Circa 1640 the line first
appears in Langford Budville, with close associations with communities
within a twenty mile radius. This information shows a wide geographic
distribution of the Stone's over the following 300 years, including
USA and Australia.
Prior to this information I was able to
trace back to John STONE (born Circa 1820 Langford Budville) and
Hannah BAKER who were the parents of Thomas STONE.

Thomas Stone was born circa 1847
in Langford Budville, Somerset and married married Matilda Ann JOHNSON
on 29 June 1871 at the Registry Office Geelong. Thomas and Matilda
had 5 children:
