Another year has arrived and yes we are playing at the Easter National Folk Festival in Canberra (April 12th-16th). This year in keeping with the theme of Federation we have organised a Scottish Fiddle Rally to showcase the talents of the various groups around Australia. Performing at least twice over the weekend we will also be practising twice to ensure the sessions go smoothly.
Check the programme when you arrive to ensure you don't miss out on a practise but at present we expect to be in Building "E" on Friday at 5:30pm and Saturday at 5:30pm, and performing at the Marquee on Monday at 10:50am and Palladium on Sunday at 1:50pm. Note we are trying to change the timing of the Monday session.
In the table below you will find details of the programme for the 4 sessions to be performed at the 2001 National Folk Festival at Canberra over Easter. At the bottom of the table there is a link to an ABC file that contains the music. Most tunes are well known and often played in general sessions, indeed you may have heard some at the Session Bar over the weekend.
