Seven. Boney (1972-73)The 1972-73 Boney TV series is based on the character created by Arthur Upfield: Detective Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte. Upfield wrote several books featuring the half-caste Aboriginal detective. Inspector Bonaparte - known as Bony - was a half-caste, born of an Aboriginal mother and a white father. New Zealand actor James Laurenson was cast for the role as Boney.
