On 20th April, there was an intense daytime double-hop F2 opening to Malaysia
and South Thailand. Genting Sempah, Malaysia (4,100 miles), and Songkhla,
Thailand (4,350 miles), were the strongest stations. TV-3 Songkhla had
frequent commercial breaks.

Also on the 20th, evening TEP provided a unusual appearance of chE2 Dubai,
UAE. Reception of Middle East TV in late April is not common.

The mystery (Chinese?) tx was also noted on 50.77208 MHz. Perhaps our
Japanese members could help with indentifying the location of this TX.

A weak 55.249989 chA2 rolling picture was also noted from Manila,
Philippines (3,900 miles). Also present were other Philippines chA2 tx's on
55.250348, 55.250368, and 55.25123 (warbler). I suspect that either
55.250348 or 55.250368 are the Davao, South Philippines 40Kw tx (3,300
