RTO Accreditation Services Vocational Pathways
has facilitated the accreditation of over 60 organisations as Registered
Training Organisations. We guide and support organisations through the entire
accreditation process. Our services include providing advice regarding
feasibility and capacity of organisations to gain accreditation, as well as
the relevant strategic business options. Further, Vocational Pathways is able
to provide almost all required quality assurance policies and procedures,
ready to be tailored and customised by organisations seeking accreditation.
Documentation includes training plans, risk management procedures,
recognition of prior learning policies, client welfare policy and internal
AQTF compliance audit report template. All organisations are fully supported
in producing a Quality Assurance Policies & Procedures Manual. Vocational Pathways
was audited for compliance with the AQTF 2007 Standards, by the VRQA, in
September of 2007. After a rigorous audit, our organisation was found to be
fully compliant, with no issues of non-compliance reported. Our documentation
was found to be fully compliant with the AQTF 2007 Standards. To date, all of
our client RTOs that have been audited, over 40 in total, have been found to
be compliant with AQTF Standards. The Victorian
Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) registers education and
training providers. Registration occurs when the VRQA is satisfied that
an education and training provider meets required standards. The VRQA
also monitors continuing compliance with these standards. Registered Training
Organisations (RTOs), including TAFEs and private providers, are the
providers of nationally accredited courses in vocational education and
training (VET). On 1 July, 2007,
Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) 2007 Essential Standards for
Registration (the Essential Standards) replaced the AQTF 2005 Standards for
Registered Training Organisations. The Essential Standards aim to
improve the quality of training and assessment in the VET sector. Changes
include reducing the regulatory burden, streamlining and standardising
processes for national consistency, ensuring stakeholder confidence in
quality skills outcomes and ensuring continuous improvement of training and
assessment. The VRQA has responsibility for implementation of the AQTF 2007 Essential Standards for
Registration, in Victoria. All training
organisations (including TAFE institutes) that issue Australian
Qualifications Framework qualifications and statements of attainment must be
registered by a State or Territory recognition authority. An
organisation that is not registered may offer non-accredited training or
assessment services, but cannot issue nationally recognised qualifications.

Develop and use emotional intelligence Organisations may choose to undertake courses through Vocational Pathways,
or may decide to deliver and assess one or more courses under the auspices of
Vocational Pathways. Auspicing arrangements enable organisations to deliver
and assess nationally recognised qualifications. Effectively, these
arrangements allow organisations to advertise for, recruit and enrol clients
in any of the above courses. These organisations would be able to charge course fees and would
only have to pay Vocational Pathways an auspicing fee per client enrolled.
Further, where organisations wish to deliver qualifications not currently on
our scope of registration, Vocational Pathways could work with such
organisations to have those qualifications added to our scope. All organisations working under the auspices of Vocational Pathways will
be fully supported in meeting relevant AQTF 2007 compliance requirements. AQTF Compliance Audits Vocational Pathways plans and conducts internal AQTF audits for
