Audit and
Verification The Victorian Registration and Qualifications
Authority (VRQA) periodically audits the performance of private providers and
verifies compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF):
Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
The audits may include an inspection of
facilities, review of assessment and record keeping systems, interviews with
trainees and sighting of documents such as WorkCare and Occupational Health
& Safety policies. Generally, organisations are given at least five days
notice and are provided with broad guidelines as to what will be required at
the audit.
RTO Compliance Review
Handbook Vocational Pathways has developed a
comprehensive audit guide for schools that are Registered Training
Organisations (RTO). The RTO Compliance Review Handbook clearly
documents the AQTF Standards and provides a user-friendly audit review and
reporting system. The Handbook allows the RTO to review all documentation,
procedures, policies and management systems relating the the
delivery of education and training for all courses in their scope of
registration.
The RTO Compliance Review Handbook is
provided as a hard copy and on disk. It comprises of a range of questions
relating to each area of registration compliance requirements, suggests methods
for collecting and/or documenting reports and supporting evidence. The Handbook
enables the organisation to prepare for the RTO compliance audit effectively
and efficiently.
