How to play the game.
WinLotto is a game that works the same way as any Lotteries you buy at a Newsagent.
You can check your chances to win without spending any money. It gives you a
statistics on numbers you won, numbers of tickets you bet, numbers of winning
numbers and more...
Before you start the game you have to add some tickets. ( This
is different from previous version - there was one ticket always ready ). On the
right hand side there is a tabbed page called "Tickets".
Enter number of tickets you wish to add, enter the price per ticket and prize money for
each division (you can experiment with these options). If you ticked the check
box "Quick Pick" the numbers will be automatically generated
(otherwise you will have to select numbers manually on each ticket). The check box "Live Display" will update money spent
and won as the game is in progress (with Pentium 2 or higher processor, this is visible only if you have large number of draws - over
100 draws and over 100 tickets). However this also slows down the game a little bit.
Click Apply button to accept all the settings from this page and
you are ready to start the game. (If you checked the "Live Display"
check box and you wish to see the progress on the game click the
"Money" tab.)
The left panel contains 45 numbers. By clicking any of them you select the
number on the currently displayed ticket. The color will change. You can select
maximum six numbers then the cursor changes to stop sign. You can
deselect any previously selected number by clicking on it. To speed up the process of
selection numbers you can use "Quick Pick" option which selects 6
numbers for you ("Quick Pick" button on the toolbar). You
can traverse through the tickets by navigation buttons on the bottom of the
ticket (arrow buttons) - and change the numbers as you like.
Tip: You can type ticket number in the edit box and double click on it - this
will display the required ticket number. This option is useful if you have
large number of tickets.
To start the game
- just click the "Draw"
button.
There are three options available:
1. One draw - only one draw (or one play) is executed.
2. Number of draws - as many draws as you specify in the edit box are executed.
3. Draw until win - draws are
executed so many times until specified number of numbers are hit on any of the
tickets - please note: to hit 6 numbers may take long time - you need about
1,000,000 draws per ticket to hit 6 numbers). To eliminate number of draws
to a reasonable figure a limit is set in "Options"
dialog box to 10,000. You can set your own limit.
The drawn numbers are
displayed in the yellow boxes and the results are written
in the statistics dialog box. The winning numbers on the ticket are displayed in
different color. You can set your own color scheme in the Options dialog
box as well.
To view statistics of the games you played click on "Statistics" button.
You can see the statistics of all games played so far or the last game drawn - click
the
"Last game" or "Total" button. You can clear all the statistics (history) and start again...
Statistics dialog
box
There are 4 pages with statistics:
1. Ticket/Numbers - shows how many tickets you have with numbers hit (winning
numbers) - e.g. 78 tickets with 3 numbers hit ...
2. Tickets/Money - shows how much money you won on each division e.g. $19,873 on
division 3 (3 numbers hit)
3. Total money - money spent and won on the games.
4. Numbers - shows frequency
of drawn numbers. (Numbers are generated by random number generator build in
PC's operating system - the same way as you buy a quick pick ticket at the
newsagent.)
Download - system requirements
